The Business Intelligence Program is now the Scan™ program. Our transformation from B-I-P to Scan was a response to the needs that our clients had expressed to us in the past several years. Our new focus is on early awareness of changes in the business environment and on more interaction with clients to convey the relevance of these changes for their organizations. We're also addressing their expressed needs for timelier access to our analysis and findings, more easily digestable content formats, and increased flexibility and variety in access options, including the Web.
The B-I-P Bulletin has become Scan Monthly, and continues to provide clients with monthly descriptions of the new Insight documents that they have come to depend on from B-I-P. But Scan Monthly also provides new content that we call Signals of Change. These monthly Signals of Change (which replace the quarterly B-I-P Scan) deliver timelier summaries of the findings and analysis that come out of our monthly Scan meetings in a format that is less time-consuming to access.
