About the Meeting
This first meeting of the VWC, which took place on 9 October 2007 at the headquarters of SRI International in Menlo Park, California, was an interactive session for presentations, dialogue, and discussion among VWC members, SRIC-BI team members, and invited guests about a range of virtual-worlds (VWs) issues and developments. The session also provided networking opportunities among the attendees as well as with representatives of some of the leading virtual-worlds companies at the meeting. The materials below are especially useful for anyone who was unable to attend the meeting; they are useful also for attendees who want to review some of the proceedings of the meeting.
