Online and Offline Presentations and Discussions In addition to holding our face-to-face meetings, we will hold online meetings for presentations and discussions of the VWC research findings and insights from our scanning and monitoring activities of virtual-worlds issues and developments around the world. We may also include short presentations about particular topics by invited guests. Materials from these sessions will be available on this page for client access. These online meetings will include some sessions in Second Life, which will give consortium members an opportunity to experience how presentations and interactive discussions can work in this environment. Some of our meetings may also include guided tours of selected Second Life facilities and innovative operations. We hope also to provide materials, including recordings, of the use of virtual-worlds platforms other than Second Life. We encourage sponsors of the Virtual-Worlds Consortium to engage in an active dialogue with the director of the program and lead researchers.
